DCB Bank has secured the ISO 27001:2005 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS). The security standard demonstrates the bank’s commitment towards providing the highest level of control for risk management and customer data protection. Murali M. Natrajan, MD and CEO of the bank, said this is an important milestone for the organization and reinforces its commitment towards building a highly secured information security for its customers. The ISO 27001:2005 certification provides the standards for establishment, implementation, monitoring and review, maintenance and improvement and an overall management and control framework for managing an organization’s information security risks. The BSI certificate noted that the bank’s technology operations and data processing systems fully complied with the ISO benchmark.
