Industries minister Uday Samant will be Chief Guest at NBFC Conference & Awards 2023


Uday Ravindra Samant, Cabinet Minister for Industries in the Government of Maharashtra, will be the Chief Guest for the Banking Frontiers group’s upcoming NBFC Conference & Awards 2023.

Scheduled to take place on August 25, 2023, at the Sahara Star Hotel in Mumbai, the event promises to be a gathering of industry luminaries and thought leaders.

Uday Samant, who has been a senior minister since August 2022, also serves as the guardian minister for the Ratnagiri and Raigad districts. His extensive experience and dedication to public service have positioned him as a key figure in Maharashtra’s governance landscape.

A notable highlight in Uday Samant’s trajectory includes his participation in the state delegation, led by Chief Minister Eknath Sinde, to the prestigious World Economic Forum 2023 held in Davos, Switzerland.

Uday Samant was elected as a member of the legislative assembly in October 2014. Over the years, he has played pivotal roles in various state governments, including serving as the Minister for Higher and Technical Education from December 2019, and earlier, as the Minister of State for Urban Development, Law and Justice, and other crucial portfolios since June 2013.

Samant  became the Chairman of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) in August 2018 and the Estimates Committee of the Maharashtra Legislature in 2016. He has been part of social, educational, cooperative, sports and cultural organisations since 1997.
