ICICI Bank said all its branches in West Bengal will now collect taxes on behalf of the state government. The taxes can be paid at any of its branches in state even if the tax payer does not have an account with the bank. Anirudh Kamani, general manager, ICICI Bank, said the new facility, in addition to the bank’s online facility, will offer more convenience and ease to tax payers in the state. The bank looks forward for more such opportunities for associating with the state government in the near future, he added. ICICI Bank has a network of 171 branches in the state.
