IBEX India 2019, the national-level trade fair for the BFSI sector, will be held in Mumbai on 23-25 January: Even as the Indian banking sector is undergoing a paradigm shift as it forges ahead powered by digitization, the event provides an ideal platform for banks and financial services institutions to experience the cutting edge future technologies at work ad benchmark them for adaptation. Alongside the fair will be Technoviti and Finnoviti, two events that discuss and recognize innovations in the BFSI sector and in among the technology partners who provide tools and systems to the sector. In addition, there will be an NBFC Conclave and Cooperative Banking Conclave.
IBEX India 2019 is expected to showcase the latest in technology for the financial services sector like Big Data, Advanced Analytics, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing. These technologies are no more an option for banks but a bare necessity.
The 3-day event is expected to see the banking community from India and South Asia interact with leading global technology solution providers, who would be showcasing diverse technologies in areas such as Physical and IT Security, Banking Automation, Cards & Payments, ATM Technology, Reconciliation Systems, IT Infrastructure/ Services/ Solutions, Education & Training, Electronic Trading Systems and Energy Solutions. The event is endorsed and supported by over 20 nationalized and private banks. Officials from Reserve Bank of India, commercial and cooperative banks, foreign banks, financial institutions/ NBFCs/ insurance companies/ gold loan companies/ are expected to visit the exhibition, where 125 exhibitors will display their products.
Apart from the exhibition, there will be stimulating discussions along with representatives of leading technology companies. There will be a conference with a theme ‘Hello Hybrid – Innovations for the Experiential World’, co-organized with Banking Frontiers, featuring an impressive panel of banking professionals. Concurrently, Technoviti and Finnoviti Awards will be produced and executed by Team Banking Frontiers and its video platform FinBizness. The Technoviti awards will introduce top 20 innovative technologies of the year and Finnoviti awards will recognize the top 20 innovators from the BFSI sector. In addition, there will be market access programs for fitness with the BFSI fraternity and interesting focused sessions on NBFCs and Cooperative Banking.

This year, the best of the fintechs would be introduced to the sector by the ecosystem partner Maharashtra Fintech of the Government of Maharashtra and facilitated by 7 key mentors supported by the Invest India.org, an initiative of the Government of India. A start-up corner offering the India BFSI start-up community an opportunity to showcase their promising innovations will be an additional feature at IBEX India 2019.
