Qatar’s Doha Bank has unveiled a new Arabic mobile banking app and revamped its English app as part of its effort to strengthen its digital engagement with its customers. By revamping the English app, the bank has added innovative features. The Arabic app was launched on Qatar National Day. The app represents the country’s colors and dynamic mood, and has a number of unique features to facilitate convenient and smooth digital banking experience to the bank’s customers. The new app will have biometric authentication feature for logins and iPhone X users can sign in using facial recognition feature on their devices. On top of viewing account balances and transaction history and setting up e-statement for accounts and cards, users can make utility bills and credit card payments, and apply for products and services such as loans, cards, and insurance products directly from the app. CEO of the bank, Dr S. Seetharaman, said convenience of the customers has always been a top priority for the bank and the launch of the new Arabic mobile banking app with state-of-the-art features reflects its vision of integrating innovation into its products and services to enhance customer experience.
