Axis Bank said it has appointed Dharmesh Mehta as MD and CEO of its investment banking unit Axis Capital. Mehta has been serving interim CEO of the firm. He has over 25 year experience in capital markets and has headed Enam’s institutional business for over 18 years. The company has successfully completed 45 ECM, 17 M&A, 4 private equity, 8 structured finance and two public debt transactions worth $10 billion in last 15 months.
