DBS Bank India has launched a first co-branded international debit card in an exclusive partnership with Bigbasket, an online food and grocery store. The card will enable consumers of Digibank to earn an assured cash-back on every order placed on Bigbasket’s app and website. Shantanu Sengupta, MD and head – Consumer Banking Group, DBS India said the bank wants to make the consumer’s life easier, as they don’t have time at their disposal. They seek instantaneous access and one-stop solutions at their finger-tips and the new co-branded card does just that by offering exciting cash-backs and other benefits, he added. Vipul Parekh, co-founder, Bigbasket, said the card, apart from being able to shop for a variety of products, will enable customers to avail of cash-back, making it a value proposition, every time they make a purchase with Bigbasket.
