Citibank’s old headquarters in the Bandra-Kurla Complex in India has attracted two prospective buyers. Pune-based Panchshil Realty and US-based private equity giant Blackstone are understood to have have jointly bid Rs 186 crore for the property. Citibank had put the building on the block and appointed CBRE group as its consultant. The bank is expecting Rs 300-350 crore for the property. The seven-floor building, Citigroup Centre, spread over 84,000 sq.ft, served as the investment bank’s India headquarters until April 1013. Thereafter, the bank shifted a block away to its new location, the 2.97-lakh-sq.ft. First International Finance Centre which it purchased for Rs 985 crore.
