The Central Bank of India has introduced a passbook printing kiosk to provide self-service convenient banking to its customers. The bank intends to install 1,000 such machines in the coming days in order to enhance customer experience.
Rajeev Puri, Executive Director, inaugurated the new passbook printing kiosk at the bank’s main office in Mumbai.
The new facility enables customers to print passbooks in self-service mode using barcode technology. Customers can use the facility to print their passbooks for savings, recurring deposit, and PPF accounts at any time, even after branch hours.
On the occasion of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,’ the bank also launched a 40-kms car rally from Fort to Ville Parle in Mumbai. Vasti Venkatesh, General Manager Marketing, and other senior officials flagged off the rally, which was attended by a large number of bank employees.
