Canara Bank has launched the Canara Campus Card, meant for students, especially those from the poorer strata of the society. RK Dubey, CMD of the bank, launched the card at Thiruvananthapur. He said the card seeks to empower students, especially the under-privileged ones, by offering means to easier access to educational loans. Students can use the card to pay fees and it doubles up as an ATM-cum-debit card for purchase of merchandise. It also serves as an identity card.
