BoI buys BSE stake in JV

Bank of India has acquired a 49% stake from BSE in the joint venture BOI Shareholding. The value of the transaction is not immediatel known. BOI Shareholding was established in 1989 as an independent full-fledged clearing house of the exchange with the bank having 51% stake. The bank said in a regulatory filing that it has purchased the 49% stake of BSE and it has become wholly-owned subsidiary of the bank.
