Bank of Maharashtra plans to roll out a mobile wallet next year. Sushil Muhnot, CMD of the bank, said the bank is in the process of discussing the matter with various service providers and within three to six months it will have the product in the market. He said the bank would be investing in technology to step up its operations and would focus on rolling out technology-oriented branches. He said with the use of smartphones spreading and people embracing technology, the next phase of growth and operations was set to happen on the mobile front. In future, more services and facilities would be made available on the mobile-based platform, he added.
