Central Bank of India has been awarded PMJDY Excellence Award. Kalran Mishra, union minister for MSMEs presented the award at a function organized by the Federation of Industry Trade and Services at New Delhi. K.K. Taneja, field GM of the bank received the award. The bank has a network of 4336 branches, 9 asset recovery branches15 retail asset branches and 26 extension counters along with satellite branches at various centres throughout the country, which have been instrumental in the stellar performance in enrolling accounts under the PMJDY scheme.
