Wirecard India has been given the final nod to acquire the merchant acquiring business of Citibank in the country. The Competition Commission of India has given the approval to four entities of the group – Wirecard Acquiring & Issuing, Wirecard Sales International Holding, Wirecard Technologies and Wirecard India. Wirecard India is engaged in the business of transaction processing services for major banks in the country.
