South Indian Bank has received the Reserve Bank of India approval to open a representative office in Dubai. This will help the bank to reach out to its NRI customers in the UAE in a better and more efficient manner. At present, the bank provides remittance services to the NRI community in West Asia through Hadi Express Exchange, which is managed by the bank. The bank also has arrangements with leading exchange houses in West Asia and Singapore for offering exchange services to the Indian diaspora.
