The bank’s MD and CEO Mahabaleshwara M S unveiled the official handles at a function held at the bank’s head office. The official social handle of the bank is @karnatakabank on Twitter and Facebook. Mahabaleshwara said social media networks change the way people interact with each other and the bank has ventured into this media to leverage its benefits and in pursuit of engaging customers and well-wishers and making them aware of the activities of the bank and its products and services. Customers can connect with the bank instantly through social media, he added.
