ICICI Bank has linked its mobile banking app iMobile to the hotkeys on the mobile keyboard eliminating the use of the app. The bank released a new version of its mobile banking app, which allows users to launch a mobile banking pop-up without exiting from their current application. The new feature has been an entry at an appathon organized by the bank recently. The bank has commercialized the app in less than three months. With the iMobile SmartKeys, anyone who gets a bill or a fund transfer request in the midst of any phone activity can launch a pop-up using the hotkeys on the keyboard and immediately complete the transaction after authorizing with their passcode. The app is already live on the iPhone store and existing customers can use it by upgrading their iMobile application. The android version will be launched in a few days.
