DBS Bank heads the list of Most Valuable Bank Brands in ASEAN for the sixth consecutive year. The bank is also among the top 40 global financial brands in the world, according to the ‘Brand Finance Top 500 Most Valuable Bank Brands 2018’ report. Ranked 40, the bank has jumped 12 spots from the previous year. Its brand value is now US$6.49 billion, a significant increase from US$5.4 billion last year. According to Samir Dixit, MD, Brand Finance Asia Pacific, DBS keeps the Singapore flag flying high, and has come a long way in the past five years. Its most significant achievement to date would be breaking into the top 40 global ranking, with a brand value of over US$6.49 billion. This is the first time an ASEAN bank has made it to the top 40 ranking, and the first ASEAN bank to cross the US$6 billion brand value mark.
