DBS Bank India has partnered with Samsung to facilitate bank customers using Samsung smartphones to make contactless payments. A Samsung spokesperson said the partnership will allow the bank customers to use Samsung Pay, which is simple, secure method of online transaction. Its biggest USP is that it is accepted almost everywhere a user can tap or swipe physical cards, he added. Samsung devices which support the feature can be used for making payments at NFC enabled PoS terminals as well and DBS customers can avail the facility by validating and scanning their debit card on select Samsung mobile phones.
