Canara Bank upgrading the bandwidth at all its branches to 2 Mbps. The bank has tied up with BSNL for this purpose. Dina Bandhu Mohapatra, ED, Canara Bank, inaugurated the project recently. Top executives of the bank, including P.V. Bharathi, ED, Canara Bank, and BSNL were present on the occasion. Mohapatra said the bandwidth upgradation of branches is in line with the bank’s policy of promoting digital channels and shall be a game changer for ensuring faster service across the counters. N.K. Mehta, director, BSNL, said BSNL is committed to providing seamless quality service to the bank. While M G Ajayan, GM (IT) & CIO, of the bank, said the bandwidth upgradation activity shall be completed in three months.
