Bank of Baroda, has signed a principal sponsorship contract with badminton Olympians P.V. Sindhu and K. Srikanth. The contract is for a period of three years, the bank said. As part of the deal, Bank of Baroda logo will appear on the center chest of the two athletes’ playing jersey in international as well as domestic tournaments under the aegis of Badminton World Federation Events (BWF) and Badminton Association of India sanctioned events, respectively. Earlier, in 2005, the bank had made cricketer Rahul Dravid as its brand ambassador but this contract has already expired. Mayank Mehta, ED, said both Sindhu and Srikanth today are household names because of their glorious achievements and the bank is very excited to have both of them on board.
