Ashok Chawla, former chairman of Competition Commission of India took charge as non-executive chairman of YES Bank. He replaces Radha Singh, who completed her tenure as chairman of the bank and its director. Chawla was appointed additional non-executive director on the bank’s board in March 2016 and the bank had announced then that he would become non-executive chairman after the end of Singh’s term.
